Livestock farmers got their first chance to see all three Spread-a-Bale models in their new livery at the LAMMA event – and they liked what they saw!

The three machines on show featured the new yellow sections – the deflector plates and headplate – that greatly improve visibility for operators working in restricted or dark environments.

With many farmers facing an extended winter housing period due to the wet weather, there was plenty of interest in all three models, reports UK Sales Manager Tom Robinson:

“We enjoyed a very positive show, meeting a good number of happy existing customers and also making many very valuable new contacts.

“They are looking at a range of issues, with saving bedding straw by spreading it more evenly and efficiently being among the most important ones.

“We also talked to people looking to save the time taken to spread straw, especially those operating ‘one man’ units, and to mechanise straw spreading without tying up the tractor with a machine that cannot be demounted from it”.
